In celebration of the “World Psoriasis Day” on October 29, 3 Asian countries (Malaysia, Korea and Hong Kong), members of International Federation of Psoriasis Associations (IFPA) conducted a joint survey on psoriasis patients.

Survey respondents: Number of participants in Asia – 635 (124 in Malaysia)
Number of cases analyzed: 411 (233 in Korea, 108 in Hong Kong, 70 in Malaysia)
Number of dropouts and insincere responses: 211
Gender: Male 61%, female 39%
Age: 1% for 10-19, 8% for 20-29 years old, 27% for 30-39 years old, 28% for 40-49 years old, 25% for 50-59, 11% for 60 and older
Malaysian survey subjects: 43% male, 57% female (3% for 10-19, 16% for 20-29 years old, 34% for 30-39 years old, 23% for 40-49 years old, 13% for 50-59, 11% for 60 and older)
